The ironing of ribbons and narrow fabric is necessary to improve the appearance of any woven fabric. This finish applied to woven labels increases the output of any cutting and folding machine because the label ribbon will be perfectly flat and stiffened. Flat calendering allows cutting and folding of even the most difficult woven labels.

The variable pressure ironing system allows perfect ironing of the whole ribbon surface, even on very thick brocade.

The ribbon is transported by a feeding tape, this prevents stretching which could make it difficult for the cutting and folding machine to read the label length.

The calendering surface is made of tempered steel and it moves automatically up and down when the machine is turned on or off.
